I am an assistant professor of public administration in the Department of Public Affairs and Political Science at Savannah State University. As an adjunct professor, I taught in the public administration and organizational leadership programs at Valdosta State University from 2012-2022.

At the Savannah College of Art and Design, I served in various capacities over 16 years, including founding director of the Student Media Center. I received distinguished broadcast adviser and multi-media adviser awards from the College Media Association and the Wilton T. Scott Award and Dedicated Service Award from the Southern Regional Press Institute at Savannah State.

I have served as education programs manager for Georgia Bikes, a statewide bicycle advocacy organization, and I am a confounder and former executive director of Bike Walk Savannah. I have also worked as a consultant to nonprofit and government agencies in Coastal Georgia.

I earned a Doctorate in Public Administration from Valdosta State University, a Master of Arts degree in historic preservation from SCAD, a Master of Science degree in Higher Education from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Valdosta State.
